Now we know Lifeline’s passive of opening supply bins is being shared more with her fellow support class legends.
Lifeline is finally getting a buff!
First her rez slowdown is almost removed completely. See how you just run right over your teammate and keep momentum?
Check it out here. You can super glide into your teammate and rez no problem.
What is also great is you can slide jump into a tap strafe and rez and barely lose momentum.
Quality of life change, but going to make lifeline very effective in combat rezzing.
Now, another buff / quality of life change is how fast her care package comes down. It feels like its around the 5 second mark. But from the visual demonstration. This is literally night and day.
My biggest issue is teammates slowing down their game and waiting for the care package. Now it comes down so quickly, if someone is hitting 2 bins, the care package will have already come down.
This makes Lifeline so much more of an option. It gives some free cover fast, and also those upgrades mid fight can be massive.
I don’t think this will push Lifeline into competitive meta. But it definitely gives he the strength she needs for ranked.
Now for our old friend mirage we have a buff / quality of life change. The rez once completed will allow you to and your teammates to stay cloaked. As long as you don’t pull out your gun.
Testing this in game you can get about 20 meters away with a slide jump with it lasting approximately 3 seconds.
So not the biggest change, but it does give mirage that reset potential. I mean while invisible you can semi see them. But I still cannot stand mirages. I always get them wrong despite knowing how to counter them. Just not something I think about in an encounter.
